Stuart
White, Team Leader Specialising in
hi-tech marketing across Europe, Middle East and Africa, Stuart
runs Optim Management and has
undertaken a number of Interim Management roles for companies
such as BT Mobile and Intel. Initially
with a career in sales, Stuart took the Marketing Diploma
to strengthen his marketing knowledge, when he became Casio’s
Training and Marketing Executive. Stuart has also held marketing
management roles with Orange, Fuji Photo Film, Betacom , Easynet
(now part of Sky), and Megabeam Networks, part of Swisscom. He has
been a member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing since 1988.

John
Daffern John is Head of Online Experience
for BT Global Services UK Marketing, the organisation that helps
multi-site organisations master the complexity of global business
communication. He an MBA-qualified, Chartered Marketer and an active
member of the Beds and Herts Team. . It is John’s clear vision
that has led him to become involved: “I aim to get marketing
recognised as a true profession, not just a job,” he explains.
“I want employers to recognise the value of the huge investment
in time and effort that CIM members have all put in to reach their
qualifications.” |
Marie Lake (Branch Secretary)
Marie holds a degree in International Marketing and the CIM Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing. With extensive marketing experience within the services sector, Marie is currently a practicing Marketer working for a regional law firm. Marie has been a CIM member since 2005, joining the CIM’s Beds and Herts as Branch Secretary in 2006.

Chris Ford
With a marketing track record of over 15 years in both the public and the private sector, Chris has senior level experience of a variety of disciplines and industries. His career to date has involved developing and delivering strategies in government, media, professional and financial services, as well as, consultancy work. Chris has an MA in Marketing and holds Postgraduate Diplomas in both Marketing and Management. Currently, he is the Head of Marketing and Communications for an international transport company. Additionally, since 2000, Chris has been a visiting lecturer at a number of Universities and Further Education colleges, and has taught students at all three levels of CIM studies. Chris’s professional interests are in change management and developing marketing orientation. |
