Members can progress through the grades from Affiliate member to Fellow. Becoming a Chartered Marketer demonstrates the highest levels of skills and marketing acumen.

• Events in this region – seminars and workshops provide the latest marketing thinking on hot topics, as well as the chance to meet other members in a relaxed and friendly environment
• Careers fair – this regular GLR event, takes the form of a presentation and careers fair and members have been know to walk away with a new job
• Member-to-member mentoring – this free scheme provides valuable support to marketers serious about developing their careers
• Involvement with local CIM teams – time spent with fellow marketers outside of your normal sphere, boosts your knowledge, credibility and lends weight to your CV and can help you to gain Chartered Marketer status
